Payments Guide

Payments Guide

Print

Are you wondering when your AdSense payment will arrive? Trying to figure out whether you'll be paid this month, or next month? We've put together this guide to explain our payment process - from the five critical steps to setting up your account, to an overview of the life of a payment, everything you need to know is here.

  1. 5 Steps to Getting Paid
  2. Tracking Earnings
  3. Payment Timelines or, "When am I paid?"
  4. Holding Payments
5 Steps to getting paid
You must complete all the steps below to get your account set for your first AdSense payment. Keep in mind that your earnings will need to reach the appropriate thresholds before you can provide your tax details, select a payment method, and enter your PIN or phone verification number.

1. Check your address

Since payments and Personal Identification Numbers, which we'll describe below, are sent to the mailing address in your account, it's important to confirm the accuracy of your payment address and payee name. Keep in mind, especially, that checks and Western Union payments are made out to the payee name exactly as entered in your account.

If you need to correct any information, follow the instructions in our Help Center.

2. Provide your tax information

Depending on your location, we may be required to collect tax-related information from you. If you're required to provide tax information, you can do so on the Tax Information page, under the My Account tab. Our interface will help guide you to the appropriate forms and requirements for your particular situation.

Go to your Tax Information page now

3. Select your payment method

Depending on your payment address, there may be a number of payment options available to you, including checks, Electronic Funds Transfer, and Western Union Quick Cash. The easiest way to find out your payment options is to visit your Account Settings page and click the Payment Information [edit] link.

If you're already an approved publisher, choose your payment method now

4. Enter your PIN and phone verification number

When your earnings reach the verification threshold, we'll mail a Personal Identification Number to the payment address in your account. You'll need to enter this PIN into your account before we can send any payments to you. Your PIN will be sent by standard post and will take 2-3 weeks to arrive.

Depending on your location, you may also be asked to verify your phone number. As part of this process, our system will call you at a pre-arranged time, and you'll be required to dial in a verification number that appears in your AdSense account.

5. Reach the payment threshold in earnings

When your total unpaid earnings reach the payment threshold, we'll send you a payment at the end of the next month. This threshold varies depending on the reporting currency in your account.

Let's say, for example, that the payment threshold for your account is US$100. In this case, if your total unpaid earnings reached $100 during January and you completed the 4 steps above, we would send you a payment at the end of February.

If your total unpaid earnings haven't yet reached the payment threshold, they'll roll over to the next month and accrue until they meet the threshold.

Payments are sent within approximately 30 days of the end of the month. See the timeline of our payment cycle in the Payment Timelines section below.

Tracking Earnings

You can track your AdSense performance and earnings from the Reports tab of your account. The Reports tab includes two important sub-tabs: Overview and Advanced Reports, which will display day-to-day details about how much you're earning from AdSense. There's also important information included in the Payment History page, which is linked from the Overview as well as the My Account tab.

The Payment History page tracks the status of previously issued payments, as well as monthly account calculations. You can click the Earnings details link for any month to view your total earnings, as well as any adjustments made to your account. Once you've qualified for a payment, and your payment has been made, you'll see it listed on this page as Payment issued. Click on the link to see the payment details as well as the exchange rate used to calculate your local currency payment, if applicable.

Payment Timelines or, "When am I paid?"

One of the most common questions we receive at AdSense support is, "when am I paid?" It's certainly an appropriate question, since you probably joined AdSense to earn money and not just because you like how pretty our ads are. So this section describes how the AdSense payment cycle operates throughout the month, to give you a good idea of when and how your payment will arrive.

Earnings calculated: On the last day of each month, our system identifies all accounts that have reached the payment threshold. All the accounts that have reached the threshold are then sent for approval. Within the first few days of the month, a link with specific earnings details will be posted to your Payment History page within the first few days of the month.

Payment issued: Within the next few weeks, a Payment issued line will be posted to your Payment History page, indicating your payment has been calculated. At this time, we'll have your payment processed and sent to you.

Payment arrives: The time it takes for your payment to arrive depends on form of payment you have selected.

  • Standard delivery checks: generally arrive within 1-2 weeks of the mailing date in the U.S.; outside of the U.S. typically arrive in 2-3 weeks.
  • Secure Delivery checks: generally arrive in 5-7 days.
  • EFT payments: should arrive in your bank account within 2-4 days.
  • Western Union Quick Cash payments: available for pick-up at a local agent the following day.
  • Rapida payments: available for pickup at your local post branch two business days after they are sent.

If there are any problems with your payment, a notice will be posted on your Payment History page. If you haven't received your payment by the 25th of the next month, you can request a reissue.

Back to top

Holding Payments

If you'd prefer not to receive payments for a while, we're happy to hold payments for you. Just set up a payment self-hold in your account.

Setting a hold will stop payments and your account will continue to accrue earnings. After you remove your hold, we'll send you a single consolidated payment for all your unpaid earnings. To set or remove a hold, follow these instructions.

Please note that all changes to your hold preferences should be made by the 15th of the month. Changes made to these settings after the 15th of the month may apply to either the current or next payment cycle.

Don't Get Caught With Google Adsense Click Fraud

if you are making money wit Google Adsense affiliate , sure you do not want your account being banned by google. learn how to avoid getting your adsense banned is very important. if not, don't cry if you account in danger. many people out there get rich with google adsense.
Many web site owners are getting their google adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.

Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it.

It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it.

Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.

How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.

It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free.

As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it.

Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.

You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.

Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.

Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for.

Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.

If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.

Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browser’s information, user’s session info and pattern recognition. They also have “systems” available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds.

Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. Using “negative keywords” can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours. Adding tracking URLs to your links so you can track the traffic coming from Google.

Do not be caught in the Google click fraud. Be aware and be wary.
i hope you can make big money online with adsense and so do i, i hope can make big dollar from adsense.

How To Avoid Getting Your Adsense Account Terminated

ADsense is a big opportunity to make money online, this is teally simple and power for begginer to make money online. so if you don't ye make money online with google adsense, i just want to say ! yoou loose some passive income for life. so how much can i make with google adsense it's all depend on your effort to do that's hard work. when you have a google adsense account keep in mind you must avoid getting your adsense account terminated.

Google, being the undisputable leader in search engines from then until now, is placing a high importance on the quality and relevancy of its search engines. Most especially now that the company is public property. In order to keep the shareholders and users of its engines happy, the quality of the returned results are given extreme importance.

For this same reason, doing the wrong things in the Adsense and other forms of advertisements, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will result in a severe penalty, may get you banned and even have your account terminated. Nothing like a good action taken to keep wrongdoers from doing the same things over again.

So for those who are thinking of getting a career in Adsense, do not just think of the strategies you will be using to generate more earnings. Consider some things first before you actually get involved.

Hidden texts. Filling your advertisement page with texts to small to read, has the same color as the background and using css for the sole purpose of loading them with rich keywords content and copy will earn you a penalty award that is given to those who are hiding links.

Page cloaking. There is a common practice of using browser or bot sniffers to serve the bots of a different page other than the page your visitors will see. Loading a page with a bot that a human user will never see is a definite no-no. This is tricking them to click on something that you want but they may not want to go to.

Multiple submissions. Submitting multiple copies of your domain and pages is another thing to stay away from. For example, trying to submit a URL of an Adsense as two separate URL’s is the same as inviting trouble and even termination. Likewise, this is a reason to avoid auto submitters for those who are receiving submissions. Better check first if your domain is submitted already an a certain search engine before you try to submit to it again. If you see it there, then move on. No point contemplating whether to try and submit there again.

Link farms. Be wary of who and what are you linking your Adsense to. The search engines know that you cannot control your links in. But you can certainly control what you link to. Link farming has always been a rotten apple in the eyes of search engines, especially Google. That is reason enough to try and avoid them. Having a link higher than 100 on a single page will classify you as a link farm so try and not to make them higher than that.

Page rank for sale. If you have been online for quite some time, you will notice that there are some sites selling their PR links or trading them with other sites. If you are doing this, expect a ban anytime in the future. It is okay to sell ads or gain the link. But doing it on direct advertisement of your page rank is a way to get on search engines bad side.

Doorways. This is similar to cloaking pages. The common practice of a page loaded with choice keyword ads aimed at redirecting visitors to another “user-friendly” page is a big issue among search engines. There are many seo firms offering this kind of services. Now that you know what they actually are, try to avoid them at all costs.

Multiple domains having the same content. In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domains IP’s, registry dates and many others. Having multiple domains having the same exact content is not something you can hide from them. The same goes with content multiplied many times on separate pages, sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to the same content.

Many of the above techniques apply to most search engines and is not entirely for Google only. By having a mind set that you are building your Adsense together with your pages for the human users and not for bots, you can be assured of the great things for your ads and sites.

Not to mention avoiding the wrath of the search engines and getting your Adsense and site account terminated altogether.

so let's make money with google adsense with white way, and google adsense way.

5 Level Of Adsense earnings or publisher type

I can say that it is from google adsense, since i decided to leave my daily job. I have talked with dozens of different internet marketer and publishers and seen thousands of different Adsense sites, and a lot of way that they use to optimisation their adsense revenue and from my own experience I have found that there are really five different levels that Adsense publishers fall on.how to monetize your adsense site I will describe each of these levels, and if you yourself are an Adsense publisher then it may be boisterous to good buy out locale you fall on the spectrum.

First Level of the Adsense Spectrum: Monetizers
this group what I called is the adsense "monetizers"
These type are people that really do not know uncommonly much about web design or search engine optimization, they never imagine worrying about keywords or ad relevancy, and for them just finding that they can copy google adsense code to their website that will actually earn them money (! ) so many people like this kind. is just the neatest gosh darn thing they have ever pragmatic. There are a great deal of publishers that fall into this category, and rarely do they ever earn over $150 per month. These are usually the non - profit websites, and they will usually use their Adsense revenue to pay for their hosting costs.and they said that they had earn money with adsense. so i hope you're not this kind of publisher.

Second Level of the Adsense Spectrum: Wannabes
The second group is the 'adsense wannabes. ' I totally feel a bit sorry for this group because they oftentimes end of failing miserably at being an Adsense publisher ( that is if they can inordinately get accepted into the program! ) and they accomplish nothing except lowering their already low self - esteem. I can keenly empathize stifle this group of folk because this is actually where I started out. They nearing the Adsense program with a type of 'get rich quick' mentality,they think they can quick get rich with adsense revenue. sometimes becoming to the exaggerations of an ebook writer and sometimes for once they begin to learn about the Adsense program their brain has strife accepting the fact that this is an actual business.
I mean come on, a business is where you work 60 hours per week to make somebody else rich, legitimate? There is no way that you could build up a high 4 - frame monthly income from this crazy Adsense thing, is there? Well I hope you know better, and this is the level of thought that these mortals are stuck at. These are the opportunity seekers, the individuals that will sign up due to a new network marketing 'business opportunity' once per quarter and then whore themselves out to their family and friends because they have failed at everything else and are always jumping back and forth so that they never execute at anything.
But I do not want to be over critic this group, because like I said this is the level at which I started out.hehehe....

Third Level of the Adsense Spectrum:adsense Beginners
Statistically speaking, if you are reading this then there is a chance that you are an Adsense beginners. It is by far the largest category of Adsense publishers. This is not something to feel bad about, and in fact I consider it to be something to be proud of because you have demonstrated your devotion to learning this new business and actually making a decent residual income shadow it. If you were not devoted consequently you would still be at the penniless level of the wannabe, so haul heed adsense begginner for you are on the path to easy street.
I define an Adsense beginners as someone who makes less then $300 dollars per month in their adsense earning. They are probably pretty intelligent persons and are very web - savvy, and they run-of-the-mill read tons of smash and ebooks related to Adsense and internet marketing, but they simply cannot seem to get past this invisible threshold that is keeping them from higher profits.
I was stuck at this level thanks to longer thus I care to remember, and if you are at this level then please own me to offer some humble advice that may allow you to advance to either level 4 or 5 depending on your personal preference. If you are really trying hard to make your Adsense earnings high enough to living off of and make a big change in your life ( perhaps quitting your job ) and you are frustrated because you simply cannot habitus out what you can possibly do to earn expanded money, then please for the love of all things good and sacred in this world rally a single website and stick with it!! This was my biggest mistake that kept me at the level of a noob for buried too long, because I would pick a new topic and make a new website, and then a few weeks later I would do the same thing to the extremity that it felt like I was running in place.
If you are like me, clinging with a single website or blog being opposed to trying to build up many different ones simultaneously entrust be a real turning point for you.
the idea is like this: when you go out of your way to focus all your attention like a laser on peerless single project, you will be building this by oneself website up to a 5 instead of building 5 websites up to a 1. Not only that, but you are literally shack up an asset because if your website was making you $2,000 per month on a fairly true blue basis, there is a choice chance that you could sell it for 8 - 14 months of revenue. so it's possible for begginner make money onilne with adsense
Another factor that goes into graduating from the beginners level is having all of the information you have been reading about Adsense, traffic generation and internet marketing to sink in on a subconscious level. This fault haul a chronology, because you need to read or hear something at least seven times before it will really sink in. But once you keep reading and absorbing data for a long instant then it will eventually become habit and you will find that you are able to build highly optimized pages intuitively, and it is at this terminus that you should be able to move on to level 4 or 5 if you wish.

Fourth Level of the Adsense Spectrum: Empire Builders
Empire builders are the people that approach being an Adsense publisher from the reaction of crib a business. They do not mess around, and they spend a decent portion of their unzipped reaction focusing on the cold, hard numbers. The empire builder has legion websites, and he / she focuses on things such being finding profitable keywords, valuable CTR, discovering which websites topics tend to be the exceptionally profitable, testing page configurations and traffic generation methods, and so on. If this does not sound like fun to you, it certainly isn't, and that is what separates the sway builder from the beginners.
But just because focusing on improving CTR and split testing page layouts is not exactly fun does not mean that it is hard, and the potential payoff can seriously be worth the discontent of taking the time to do it right. There is an important exemplar shift that needs to take place in your awareness if you want to be a successful empire builder: you must realize that your profession is literally to connect advertisers with nation who are interested pull what they are promoting.
By creating content sites around a certain topic, you are drawing in people who are interested in that theory, and then you are 'giving' those visitors away to other websites that may not be as good at marketing as you are. The main contrivance to be aware of here is that even though you are building up a base of website visitors with the intention of having them leave your website by clicking on relevant ads, they will be origin some money in your virtual tip jar as they go! If you are an empire builder, it is conspicuous that you do not get too attached to your websites and spend powerfully of your attention focusing on how you can connect your visitors with relevant advertisers. this will improve your adsense revenue.

Fifth Level of the Adsense Spectrum: Adsense Whores
By my choice of words you may think this is a bad thing, but it's not and it can potentially be extremely good to be an Adsense whore. The business model of the Adsense whore is to have one single website and have ads appearing on potentially millions of pages on the site. The key distinction here is that superlatively of the time the single website that this person focuses on will be a humanity site or a networking site, and there will be thousands of members that effectively create unique content each and every day. And go underground all of the unique pages that your member base is creating, you can place your code on nearly every singe one of them.
A forum or a social networking website are great examples of websites that can make a side-splitting using this type of business model. Many sites that are powered by user - generated content will enlist an ad rotating script so that their adsense ads are rotated continually with other types of visual ads, so that the visitors do not turn into 'banner blind' and ignore the ads completely.imagine how many adsense revenue that the get ?
When you have a popular website and a member base numbering in the thousands or the tens of thousands, a 6 - figure monthly income is not out of the question when you are able to monetize the vast number of pages that are in that perpetually created. This level is out of reach for most people because it usually requires an extensive knowledge of web application programming and you will usually have to hire skilled programmers to work on the back end of the site and make sure that it is secure. This can be costly, and there is a chance that you will also requisite to hire people to moderate the content that users are creating. It is a full - on business, and it pays forasmuch as.

As you can see, Adsense publishers come in all types and sizes, and I hope this has been an enlightening aside on your journey towards higher profits. so which one do you felt?
make money online with adsense is a fancy for me. you must be patient and do your job continously, and you'll get what you want yah Adsense Revenue

What is a good CTR?

Enlighten People:

It depends on the kind of site you got. Some sites have trouble getting a 1% CTR. Others have no trouble getting over 10% CTR. Check the links at the end of the FAQ for tips on optimizing your site.

Why am I getting PSAs?

Enlighten People:

Google has not yet crawled all the pages of your website.
Your page may contain sensitive content for which relevant paying ads will not be displayed.
Your website is using session IDs in the URL.
The AdSense code was placed within an IFRAME.
Your web pages are behind a login.
There are too many URLs added to your account filter list.
Your web page may not contain enough content.
Your site content is primarily in an unsupported language.

Your site has restricted access using a robots.txt exclusion. If you would like to grant Google's crawler access your pages, you can do so without granting permission to any other bots. Simply add the following two lines to the top of your robots.txt file:

Search On Your Own Site

Enlighten People:

Seeing as I never blogged about this, I thought that this would be a great time to talk about the new way of using AdSense for Search - from within your own webpage! Originally, when someone does a Google Search, they are taken to google.com and you can customize the colour and logo but it didn't feel like your own site. However, if you click "Open results within my own site" within More Options, you can choose a page for your search results to land on. You just need to make a landing page for the search results with your header footer and various sidebars and place code in that page where you want the search results - simple. This time you will get 2 sets of code however: one for the search box and one for the results page. And best of all, it works with all the features such as competitive filtering and such like so if you have a site (not like a blogger blog) you should convert now. Enjoy (note: I am going to be blogging more often now).

Place Ads in Middle of Blogger Posts

Enlighten People:

When you make a Blogger template, you can place ads in the sidebar and on top. However, the positions of the ads are static. The main point is that you cannot place an advert inside a post. Correct?
Incorrect! Using a bit of Javascript techno-wizardry you can place AdSense ads in the middle of your Blogger posts easily. I don't promise, but it should increase your CTR. Let me show you how:
  • Log in to Blogger and go to Template
  • Find the <$BlogItemBody$> tag in your template
  • Replace it with:

<p>
<ItemPage>
<div id="adsensical<$BlogItemNumber$>start"></div>

<div style="margin:5px 0 -5px 10px">
<!--PLACE YOUR AD CODE HERE-->
</div>

<div id="adsensical<$BlogItemNumber$>end">
</ItemPage>
<div id="adsensical<$BlogItemNumber$>body"><$BlogItemBody$></div>
<ItemPage>
</div>

<script language="JavaScript">
//AdSensical Place Ads in Middle of Blogger Posts
//By hackman_3vilGuy http://adsensical-adsense.blogspot.com
//hackman {AT}caller {DOT}me {DOT}uk

var topbit=document.getElementById("adsensical<$BlogItemNumber$>start");
var bottombit=document.getElementById("adsensical<$BlogItemNumber$>end");
var s=document.getElementById("adsensical<$BlogItemNumber$>body").innerHTML;
var regexIndex=s.search(/<!--adsense-->/igm);
if(regexIndex>0) {topbit.innerHTML=s.substr(0,regexIndex);bottombit.innerHTML=s.substr(regexIndex+14);}
</script>
</ItemPage>
</p>

Copy this code
  • Replace <!--PLACE YOUR AD CODE HERE--> with your real Adsense code you want to put in
  • Now in every post place <!--adsense--> somewhere in the HTML (click Edit HTML) of the post where you want the ad to appear!
That's it! If you implement this you should hopefully get a greater CTR and therefore more cash and the method is within the ToS. This only displays the ads on item pages. If you want to display them on all pages then get rid of the ItemPage tags but watch out that you only have 3 ads per page. If you forget to put the tag in, your ad will appear just before the article. Enjoy, just please don't forget to link back here.

Google AdSense Law : : Not Getting Banned

Enlighten People:

This is not definitely going to save your account. I hope to make a long list of everything against the terms and conditions. Don't be greedy. This is still unfinished work. I decided to do this as sometimes the ToS and Program Policies are a bit unclear.

1. Never click on your own AdSense ads. Simple. Final. Never ever. Click fraud is not good. Not even away from home.
2. Never ask someone to click on your ads. An over zealous family member may not understand and may decide to click 20 times to make you loads of money. Don't be greedy.
3. No dodgy sites with popups or automatic software installs. You know the ones saying you must click YES to downloading NoSpywareHonest or dialers. Can't change browser setting or anything.
4. Your site may not be loaded by one of the above ways. Don't register your site in dodgy places.
5. Don't touch your AdSense code. Not unless you definitely know you aren't going to mess anything up. Really. Especially don't add any premium keyword features (for massive publishers like Amazon) as these mean instant blockage.
6. Don't label ads with "Click Me". Or anything else. The only labels you are allowed are "sponsored links" or "advertisements"
7. Don't obscure ads. All text must be visible (no messed up colours) and they mustn't be in hidden DIVs or frames or whatever.
8. Don't try and trick Google. They are clever and also they have your money.
9. No Google ads alongside pr0n, gambling or illegal stuff
10. Make sure your page is never loaded inside an unrequested popup
11. No Google AdSense ads in emails. Also no error pages or thank you pages
12. Don't force ads to open in a new window and don't provide anything besides a direct link to the clicked on page. Dunno how you would do that anyway. I suppose with window.onbeforeunload. Anyway, you may not intersperse any content between the click and the content and the page they click on must be the exact place they arrive at.
13. Don't ever autofil the search box.
14. AdSense may not be used in an application. (including toolbars) - only websites.
15. Website publishers may not display ads on sites containing MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. Copyright reasons.
16. Don't give incentives to click or bring unnatural attention to the advertisements. This includes "If you are interested in visiting one of our sponsored links during you upload, please right click on the advertisement to avoid interruption of your upload"
17. Don't display other contextual ads on the same page as Google ads. So, your site could rotate between displaying yahoo and adsense ads on each page but adsense and yahoo on the same page is a big no no.
18. You can't specify Google ads as alternative ads. Obviously.
19. Only 1 link unit, 1 referral button per product, 2 search boxes and 3 ad units per page. Strictly.
20. Only place ads and search boxes and referral buttons on a content page. No domain parking or pages specifically for the purpose of displaying ads.
21. No robots or click exchanges.
22. No link schemes or traffic boosting things
23. Page language must be one of the supported languages. (Sorry no Swahili or Tongue)
24. Nothing imitating Google AdSense ads, referral buttons or logos.
25. No competing search services such as MSN search
26. Just behave. I had to make a zed.

Well. That's about it for now. I didn't mean it to go from A-Z but as I had 25 laws I though I might just add an extra one. I'm sure I missed loads. AdSense is however a great scheme and probably for every horror story of somebody getting banned, thousands don't. Sign Up now if you haven't already and start earning loads (or a little).

Google AdSense Equation for Monetary Success_27

Enlighten People:

There are many factors that govern how much money you can make. These can be sumarized in the following equation. Although not all of the factors are equal, you need to make sure that you work on all of them:

Google Adsense Revenue = Traffic Levels × High Paying Ads × Ad Position × Relevant Ads × Ad Design

Traffic Levels:
It seems simple enough - the more traffic that you get, the more chance that somebody will click on an advert. Try and write some pillar articles that get high on search results for certain keywords. Also, try to get Slashdotted. Having an article Slashdotted will bring a day of seriously high traffic (hope your server can cope). A lot of image ads and site-targeted ads as well as text ads are CPM. This means that your are paid for each time the advert is viewed. Having regulars is important as well, so write GREAT CONTENT.

High Paying Ads:
Obviously, the more paid for an ad, the more you get. You need keyword targeting! You might like to follow the AdWords set up and see what sort of prices are paid for certain keywords. You need to select a high-paying topic (about technology not toothpicks!). Also, make sure you sign up for image ads which have a larger CPC. Have a go - it's mainly trial and error and won't be easy.

Ad Position:
Don't hide your ads! Make them close by. You have the choice of where to place your Google AdSense ads. Put them in text flow or at the end of long articles.

Relevant Ads:
You really need to make sure that your ads are relevant to the topic or your CTR will be way low. Without keyword spamming, try using the tips in the keyword post. Make sure there are ads for your topic out there, check your sidebars for unneeded text, use section targeting. That should be it.

Ad Design:
The amazing thing about AdSense ads is that you choose the design. One Adsenser said that all ads should be on a bright red background with yellow text as the colours of McDonalds bring out an urge to buy. Contrasting ads work but the way most people make money is by making the ads blend and look like part of the site. Experiment with all different shapes, colours and sizes. Only you can find out what works for your site.

WARNING: - You may not see an instant increase in money and your income will be limited by the weakest element. If you have great ad visibility but badly paying ads, you won't make money.

Google AdSense Keywords and Content

Enlighten People:

One way to make money with Google AdSense is by keyword targeting. As you probably already know, Google AdSense ads are contextually targeted. The Google AdSense spider / crawler / indexer searches your content for keywords and then displays ads for those keywords - contextually targeted adverts. However, AdWords advertisers pay different amounts for different keywords. Advertisers pay more for keywords where they are likely to make better returns and get more money for. A jokes page will likely have low paying ads ($0.02) whereas one about credit cards will have much higher paying keywords.
However, you should really only make content about stuff you can write about or are interested in. Also, if you have a website that is mainly targeted to a particular topic and you then put in a page about Student Consolidation to try and get a better CPC (cost per click) you will not get as much money as if you had a whole site about the keyword.The best paying keywords are about mesothelioma, life insurance, loans, mortgages, etc. Not really the most interesting topics but if you have a blog about electricals you can get quite a high CPC and therefore lots of money.

How to implement keywords:

* Find a keyword you want to target
* Write an article. You must have good content otherwise your readers will turn off.
* Inside your article you must have the keyword mentioned a few times
* The <title> of the page should contain the keyword
* The keyword should appear in at least one <h1> tag
* The keyword should appear in <b> (bold) at least once
* Don't overdo the keyword targeting as Google will give you worse ads as a result so keep the <meta> tags down.
